We finally got a colt! And a bay! And spots! "Archer" is a full brother to both Catching Fire and UnderColor Agent. He is a really nice gelding if he would stay out of trouble. He has a bit of spice from time to time, but is a quick learner. Abby thought she needed more to do, so she has been working with him in 2022. She had him all ready for our August show and the morning we left, he came up with a cut on his leg..so that sidelined him and then our final show of the year was cancelled. BUT, he did make it out in September and showed well. We typically don't show our 2's much, if at all,so watch for him again in 2024!

"Johnnie" is yet another awesome colt out of this cross! By
multiple champion performance stallion, Straws Mighty Magnum and out of ApHC
point earner, CR Hollywood Peanut - an own daughter of World Champion
Hollywood Art our out of All-Around Performance mare, Jimini's Fancy.
He is just as friendly, athletic, and built to work as the first two.
What he lacks in color, he sure makes up for in disposition and
personality. Johnnie made it out in the show pen to get his feet wet
in 2017 and was able to bring home a couple of points. His big trial
was in 2018 when Johnnie joined Abby in the show pen - and what a first year
they had together! (Abby did let Adam and Kristine show him a couple
of times ;) ) Abby & Johnnie have been a rather unstoppable team.
With all of the awards they have earned, Abby is looking at giving him a
much lighter work load in the show ring in 2024 while she focuses on a
couple of our youngsters. His unflappable,
laid back personality has made him a favorite of everyone.

"Ruger" was well worth the wait! By multiple champion performance
stallion, Straws Mighty Magnum and out of ApHC point earner, CR Hollywood
Peanut - an own daughter of World Champion Hollywood Art our out of
All-Around Performance mare, Jimini's Fancy. "Ruger" is backed by
strong performance bloodlines on both sides, LOUD coloring and a great
personality - this boy can't help but be a Champion! He's everything
we expected - and his color all we hoped for - when we decided to make this
cross! Ruger had an
awesome start to 2016 in the show pen. We made plans to have Abby
start showing him in walk/trot at our later-year shows. However, in
late August 2016, Ruger started having some head-shaking issues, and after a lot
of trial and error, and some diagnostics, we are afraid he may be victim of
Equine Headshaking Syndrome that is felt to have been brought on by Lymes
Disease. This has been a devastating blow. We
are continuing to try and find a way to keep him as a comfortable working
partner - we'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers. He was able to
make it out for most of the 2019 show season with Adam in walk/trot, and
just a couple of in hand classes with Adam in 2020. Unfortunately, at
this time, it seems in his best interest to retire him. He is now an
important big brother to all of the youngesters - taking over Mic's spot as
the grumpy old man!
