Straws Mighty Magnum is versatility. Magnum has earned many prestigious awards and recognition for his excellence in a variety of events - from the ApHC, NBHA and Open show circuits. On top of his successful show career, Magnum is also a favorite for ranch work and leisurely trail rides. His athleticism and versatility paired with his quiet, easy going personality make him a favorite with all who meet him...and his good looks are always turning heads.
 
Magnum comes by his abilities honestly. His sire, Straw Sham is a multiple Medallion producing sire, World & National Reserve & Top Ten winners (USA & Canada), ROM producing sire and his foals have earned many ApHC points. Not to mention he is by the great Roman's Straw Man. Magnum's dam, Popeye's Pride is no slouch herself and has proven herself in the breeding shed. With only 3 foals, they have earned over 300 ApHC & ACAAP points, Medallions, Top Tens at the Worlds/Nationals, and numerous Year-End Awards. Magnum's success has spread past the show ring and in to the breeding shed. Magnum's foals are showing the same athlectic ability and excellent dispositions while also being stamped with exceptional conformation, pleasing profiles, and the will to work that makes their sire the excellent horse that he is. His foals are now beginning to steal the spotlight in ApHC, 4-H and Open show rings around the United States - and soon to be World-wide!
